District Newsletter - GROUNDWORK

GROUNDWORK is the district's award winning newsletter. It is published 6x a year and covers a wide range of district activities.

The GROUNDWORK will keep you up-to-date on local watershed council activities, upcoming workshops and events, NRCS and FSA Farm Programs, gardening tips, and local native wildflowers and plants. Every year, the Sept/Oct issue carries the District's Tree and Shrub Sale List.

Businesses interested in supporting conservation can place a Sponsor Ad with the GROUNDWORK. Cost is $75 a year. When an ad is placed it is accompanied by an article titled Sponsor in the Spotlight which introduces the business and the services they offer. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, click on the link at the right and let us know.

Kristin Currin, Humble Roots Native Plant Nursery, submits an article in every issue of GROUNDWORK detailing some of the wonderful plants growing in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. Unfortunately, the photos in the newsletter are grey scale so the color is lost. I've compiled these articles into a color pdf. It is a living document with additions being added with each new edition of the GROUNDWORK.
