Request for Proposals
Wasco County Soil and Water Conservation District is soliciting proposals to establish a pool of qualified water well drillers for the repair or replacement of problematic wells near Mosier, Oregon.
The RFP, including all Addenda, attachments, and exhibits, is published on the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN System) at http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/welcome (Document # ORPIN-1064-16

Sealed proposals must be received by Ron Graves, Wasco County SWCD, 2325 River Road, Suite 3, The Dalles, OR 97058 no later than March 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Sealed proposals must be marked on the outside with Proposal for Solicitation No. ORPIN-1064-16. Proposal opening is scheduled for March 27, 2017 at 1:30 PM.

The Wasco County Soil and Water Conservation District is pleased to co-sponsor OSU Extension's Annual Crop Tour. This year tour stops include reveiwing the OSU Wheat Variety Trials, irrigation effeciency technology, soil fertility, and wildfire management.
 
DATE: May 16, 2017
TIME: Meet at 7:45 am, depart at 08:00 am (Meet at Auction Yard off Hwy 197)

2017 NCLA Bull Tour
The North Central Livestock Association is hosting their annual Bull Tour in and around Wasco Co.
When: April 7, 2017
Where: Wasco Co. Fairgrounds in Tygh Valley
Time: Meet at 07:00 AM to register or check in, Enjoy donuts and coffee and visit with friends.
Bus and vehicle caravan leave at 8:00 AM
Registration: $45, Pre-registration - contact Sherman Co. Extension - 541-565-3230
Stops include Larry and Vickie Ashley's then Warnock Ranch on Bakeoven, from there the tour heads to Antelope to the Gomes Eagle Valley Ranch for a lunch stop, followed by a visit to Forman Ranch. The tour returns to the Fairgrounds for dinner and music
